Lacan Circle Membership

Lacan Circle membership applicants are expected to have participated in the events and activities of the LCA normally for a period of a year or more.

If the Committee of Management determines that the applicant has a prima facie case for admission, the applicant will be invited to attend separate interviews with two members of the Committee. The Committee will then consult with the Executive Committee of the New Lacanian School, of which the Lacan Circle is an associate group, before making a final decision.

Members of the Lacan Circle are expected to participate in and contribute to the ongoing activities of the Circle.

Members receive the biannual journal of the NLS, The Lacanian Review.

The list of members of the Lacan Circle and their contact information is available here.

Applications for membership of the Lacan Circle of Australia can be obtained by writing to the Secretary here.
