In this seminar we work toward the Congress theme of the NLS and the WAP for 2026 by reading through selected preparatory texts. We engage the topic of truth in psychoanalysis, the theme of the 2026 NLS congress, Varity: variations of truth in psychoanalysis and prepare for the WAP conference, There is no sexual relation by looking at the preparatory texts.

Jonathan Redmond is a Lacanian psychoanalyst in private practice in Fremantle, Western Australia. He is the author of Ordinary Psychosis and the Body: A Contemporary Lacanian Perspective (2014) and numerous journal articles in psychoanalysis. He is the President of the Lacan Circle of Australia where he teaches seminars on psychoanalytic theory and practice.

Online & Recorded: All sessions are streamed live on Zoom, recorded, and will be available for the duration of the semester. Zoom info will be available after registration. Supplementary readings will be made available in the seminar’s Google drive & Discord server.
